Hydrogen storage 

The smallest and most elusive molecule in nature is crucial to many industries (steel, chemicals, etc.). Currently, hydrogen is produced mostly from natural gas reforming which results in high emissions. In the future, hydrogen could present a green and viable alternative for hard to abate industries and transportation. It could also be used for seasonal energy storage.

Utilizing green hydrogen will require large volumes of storage. Many storage alternatives are being utilized and developed. Augwind is currently adapting its proprietary (CE certifies) underground chambers to provide a competitive storage option for hydrogen and its derivatives.
